Fourth anniversary of Kamleshwar Shiv Temple In Kenya

We celebrated fourth patotsav of Kamleshwar Mahadev Shiv Temple last Sunday. This temple has proved the presence of Shiva in weirdest possible places and mostly difficult to reach. The roads to this temple is difficult but getting better day by day.  We performed Yagna, Dhvaja Rohan, Ganesh Puja, Rudrabhishek and homa to the yagna.

The devotees of the Iskon temple performed Bhajan during the occasion. Devotees of various communities also joined us to this auspicious occasion. I must say that the time flys. Its been four years this temple came into existence in the middle of no where.

The beauty of the temple is growing each year pass by. We see new faces every time we hold any function there. The locals have been very supportive and we think they are part of our Shiva family.

  1. Dear Vaishali, I chanced upon your blog and really love the articles you have here and the work you are doing. I’d love to invite you to contribute articles to my recently launched online magazine http://www.livingwiseproject.com which, similar to the ShriVedant Foundation, indianscriptures.com and Kenya Vegetarian Club, aim to promote Indian wisdom and wellness.

We have article contributions from some noted scholars like David Frawley and Subhash Kak as well as informed writers from the community. I’d love to have contributions from you too on topics like vegetarianism, Indian culture abroad, Vedic culture etc. I’d also be happy to share information about the Hindu & Vedic Lifestyle courses your foundation offers. I’d love to discuss further with you and can be reached on livingwiseproject (at) gmail.com.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
    Best,
    Shruti
